Hybrid Model

 

Our hybrid model provides a unique new way for companies to find highly experienced executive talent with the additional benefit of adding capital to operations.  All candidates we present must be fully capable and interested in making an investment in exchange for equity and finding a new home as part of an executive team. 

 

The hybrid method is superior to most other means of propelling growth i.e. venture capitalists, angel investors etc., especially when considering retention of control.  Venture capitalist and angel investors usually bring nothing more to the table than money and most often have a different concept about time frames and success performance than the principals of the company. The hybrid model allows equity to remain within the executive team.

 

The idea behind creating this situation is to ensure that organizations are managed by like-minded individuals who share a stake in the company. Executives can talk all they want, but the best vote of confidence is putting one's own money on the line just like outside investors, having "skin in the game!"

 

Executives considering this concept must be willing to work the first two years for a more modest salary than they have been accustomed; however, they understand the long term upside potential of the opportunity.  All of the executives presenting must have held a Director, General Manager, Vice President or C-level (CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, etc.) position. 

 

Typically, we work within two tiers of hybrid opportunities/executives:

 

Tier 1) For Example Purposes Only:

 

   Title: Vice President, President or C– Level (CEO, COO, CTO, etc.).

   • Capital contribution: $250,000 for shares in the company

   • Annual Salary: $100k -$150,000 guaranteed for 2 years plus aggressive bonus structure.

 

Tier 2) For Example Purposes Only:

 

   Title: Director/GM

   • Capital contribution: $150,000 for shares in the company

   • Annual Salary: $60k to $80k guaranteed for 2 years plus aggressive bonus structure.

 

Personal Business Advisors receives a success-only flat fee from the client company (No fee to executive/candidate).

VP of MARKETING - Global platform for App development $150k for 3.3%, $75k plus very agressive bonus, no relocation required

 

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - Private media channel $150k for 5%, $60k salary plus very agressive bonus, no relocation required

 

VP ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING - Security product $250k for 5%, $100k salary plus agressive bonus, relocation TBD
